In 'The Market' series, I express my deep connection to my homeland, Moldova, and particularly to the town of Ocnița. Central to this project is our local market, which I perceive as truly magical and one-of-a-kind – it is the heart of our town, its distinctive calling card in the post-Soviet landscape. I photographed these scenes, striving to convey their simplicity and their embrace of light, which make this place so unique. This is my way of sharing the love and admiration I feel for these familiar streets and their inhabitants.
